In order to complete the 15 required courses, students may enroll in one of 3 study tracks or programs.

In the Rapid Track, the student will study full time very intensively for six months in the Missionary Institute. During these six months, the student will finish the 15 required courses. Afterwards, he will do a one-year internship at the site where his or her ministry will take place. Upon successful completion of the coursework and internship, the student will receive the Diploma of Basic Theology.
In the Residential Track, the student will study full time at a somewhat slower pace for ten months at the Missionary Institute. During this time, the student will finish the 15 required courses and also be assigned practical work at a local congregation. Afterwards, he will do a one-year internship at the site where his or her ministry will take place. Upon successful completion of the coursework and internship, the student will receive the Diploma of Basic Theology.
In the Part-time Track, the student will study only part time at the Missionary Institute, for however long it takes to finish the 15 required courses (ideally, two years). During this time, the student will also be assigned to do practical work at his congregation, under the supervision of his pastor. Afterwards, he will do a one-year internship or vicarage at the site where his or her ministry will take place. Upon successful completion of the coursework and internship, the student will receive the Diploma of Basic Theology.
